Sarah Modene is a fresh new artist beginning a solo career as a writer and performer of her solo piano compositions. Journey is her debut album- a compilation of some of her best music. Her music is original, contemporary, and vibrant, while evoking emotion and contemplation from the listener. She has been composing for more than a decade- since age 7.
Journey consists of solo piano compositions with themes ranging from vivid images to strong emotions. Referring to the beginning of her musical journey, the album's title is symbolic in more than just a musical sense. Inspired by everything around her, Sarah infuses her music with passion and sensitivity.
But Sarah is not just another New Age artist. Refusing to follow, instead she leads- her music is personal yet universal. Expect great things to come from this young artist- after all, this is just the beginning of her journey!

author: David GlassI am a pianist myself and have been performing for over 25 years classically, as well as other genres of music. I have been listening to samples of hundreds of pianists for the past few years at CDBABY and feel that Sara’s CD stands out. Her rich tone and deep emotional connection separates her from the typical, superficial background pianists. Sara’s music is both visionary and introspective. Sara remains mostly focused in the mid-range of the piano and never compromises her spiritual depth for the stereotypical “tinkling “ that is so commonly heard by New Age/Easy Listening pianist. What is compelling to me is that she is just out of high school and is already established a unique sound, for sure that will develop for many years to come. My wife, a ballet/improvisational dancer, thoroughly enjoys dancing to her music and many of my colleagues are in agreement that she has a special gift that many will benefit from. I highly recommend this CD and will encourage both musicians and music-lovers to keep an eye on Sara’s career. Congratulations Sara on a fine debut CD!
